This Personal Data Protection & Privacy Statement (“Policy”) describes how we collect and safeguard personal data. Personal data is information about an individual, including identification details, contact details and other information processed in conjunction with The Centre Malaysia (“The Centre”).

The Personal Data We Collect

Our website is informational in nature. We do not collect any personal data or personally information when you visit our website unless you choose to provide that information to us. You may choose to provide us with information by contacting us, including for subscription to our publications, events, and for career enquiries or applications.

In the course of our services, you may provide personal data to us, as parties involved in our work. The processing of your personal information will be done in accordance with all applicable laws, and a personal data protection notice will be served on you if you provide your personal data pursuant to a commercial transaction with us.

However, we may disclose your personal data (within and outside Malaysia) in good faith, (i) to comply with requirements of the government, law enforcement agency, any authorities to whom The Centre is subject to or any orders of court; (ii) as is necessary or relevant in relation to any legal process; or (iii) if required or authorised by law.
